Welcome my pretty
My emerald world for thee
Outside the moon's a ghost
The wind howls like an enemy
When I hold you, you're pale just like a ghost
The ghost of my enemy
Oh leave me never
Did not your mother
Did not your mother
Did mother not say you never should
Play with the witches in the woods
No this is no dream before your eyes
To wake from on the morrow on the cold hill side
Did not your mother
Did not your mother
Did mother not say you never should
Play with the witches in the woods
No this is no dream before your eyes
To wake from on the morrow on the cold hill side
Did not your mother
Did not your mother
Did mother not say you never should
Play with the witches in the woods
No this is no dream before your eyes
To wake from on the morrow on the cold hill side
Now there's no escape for you my friend
Roots will hold you like the hands of men
Did mother not say you never should
Play with the witches in the woods

Hermit Knight is always a special adventure, between emotions of joy and pain, of a sensitive intensity. Listening to this opus reminds me of those little companions that I loved so much. They are forever in my heart. Forever 🖤 𝕽𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖉
Haunting and gorgeous darkambient from Josh Sager, “interlopers” conjures eerie, shadowy worlds with bleak, low-hanging synths. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 7, 2021
The aptly-named Hauntings write songs that are sinister and moody—the seconds in a horror film right before the jump scare. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 3, 2023

One of my favorite dungeon synth albums, and I had only heard it a few days ago for the first time.
Perfect for drifting off to sleep, but also for driving under the canopy of trees. It is very soft, and pleasant, yet vast at times. The ambient forest sounds are extremely soothing. A wonderful work of art that feels as refreshing as diving into the deeps of a natural, cold spring in the eves of summer. Bjorn
